 A study performed by the University of Crete has revealed an important link among the pregnant women’s diet and the possibility of developing asthma and allergies to their newly born children. The pregnant women who followed the Mediterranean Diet during their pregnancy, gave birth to children with limited incidences of childhood asthma and allergies.
Even we all know that it is important to consume healthy food during pregnancy avoiding in the same time alcohol and tobacco, this study highlighted the critical importance of a nutritious pre-natal diet.
